Sifu Zachariah N. Smith has been training with the Silver Dragon Martial Arts Academy since 2006. He is the current instructor for the Jackson (Breathitt County) location of the Silver Dragon school and has served as instructor for the Harlan, Williamsburg, Manchester, and Beattyville Academies Sifu Zach has also served as the striking coach for the amateur MMA group Team Ascension Team Ascension holds an impressive win/loss record, multiple championship matches, and one Heavyweight Champion. The Silver Dragon tournament team, the “Fighting Dragons”, is coached by Sifu Zach in advanced sparring and form practice. He also has created an advanced cardio and strength training regiment designed to give the team a leading edge for maximum competition performance. Sifu Zach spends time researching in multiple styles, advancing his own knowledge as a martial artist. He welcomes all styles and disciplines to come and train.
